Among their projects is the Chef and Child Foundation, which helps to feed hungry children. Missouri Restaurant Association
Leadership and service to the foodservice and hospitality industry since 1935.
Our first industry membership was with the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Missouri Restaurant Association. The MRA has partnered with other midwest industry groups to sponsor an annual trade show, which alternates between St. Louis and Kansas City, attracting attendees from all over the Midwest. As an Associate Member, Golden Boy Pies had a booth at their 1999 Heart of America Hospitality Exposition at Bartle Hall in Kansas City, the first four-state hospitality trade show in the United States.

Broadmoor Bistro
A One of a Kind Culinary Experience, since the Fall of 2000 
Our local Shawnee Mission School District offers some amazing culinary classes taught by Chef Bob Brassard & Chef Tobias Dotson for those junior & senior high school students who are interested in the foodservice/hospitality fields. These classes are held at Broadmoor Technical Center located off of Metcalf & 83rd Street in Overland Park, KS. Students prepare & serve incredible gourmet meals at their Broadmoor Bistro (This is a must try  -  reservations are required!). Fridays are known as "Broadmoor Baking Fridays" and treats are available to the public after 2:30, baked goods sell quickly!

Les Arts Culinaires
State of the Art Culinary Experience Since 2010

As part of Olathe's 21st Century High Schools, Olathe North High School is home to an outstanding culinary program offered to high school juniors and seniors in the Olathe School District and surrounding areas, who are interested in the foodservice industry. Chef Mike Chrostowski along with Connie Nieman have taught and mentored amazingly talented and award winning students. Students showcase their culinary talents one Friday night a month from October through April at Les Arts Culinaires . (Reservations required!)
